Window Visor Review - Easy Fit, Quality Part

I wanted a set of Window visors for my 2002 Dodge Dakota Quad cab truck and found these. I have installed similar items on another truck (Ford Ranger) and Hyundai Sonata, so I was familiar with a few of the options and pros and cons. I am impressed with the fit, finish, quality packaging and instructions on these. They fit right, are easy to install, and work wonderfully.

When you first install them, it takes a little bit of finessing (sp) with the front set, but that is to be expected...you have to set the front in place, bend the back edge a bit to get it in place (in the channel) and then gradually work the middle in to place. They were a perfect fit. The rear visors are not snap in, but are still in-channel design; there is a strip of (apparently) double-sided tape around where the rear visor fits in the window channel. The only issue I had was that on the rear visors, the right and left labels (to tell me which side of the truck each visor was to be instal led on) were backwards. While they actually fit this way, the rear window channel area where the visor was to go has a more rounded top on the front side and a squared off top area near the rear. If I had followed the labeling, the rounded edges of the visor would have been towards the rear and the squared off edge would have been towards the front...backwards. No big deal, though, as it was easy to spot and fix.

One caution, though: with the visors on the front door pilars appear to be wider since the dark smoke color of the visors tend to block the view. This is true for any set of Window Visors and do not reflect badly on this set at all. Just be cautious when driving and take this into account when you are looking for all of those "offensive" drivers out there (we were taught to drive "defensively").

So, I found these to be a quality set of Window Visors.

Very functional.... had to grind down one area of front passenger window to fit better. Would pull loose when putting window down.

Work great

Work great, easy to install and they look good, what more could you ask for!
I often leave the truck parked in the sun and this helps keep in cooler... also graet for us smokers who need a window cracked even in the rain.
